Note Summarizer Agent

Prerequisites: Base Configuration

Before utilizing this agent, ensure your foundational AI Provider and Model are set up. Please refer to the Common AI Configuration guide to configure your AI Provider.

1. Installing the Module

Before this agent appears in your Agent Library, you must install its corresponding module.

  1. Navigate to the Apps menu.

  2. Search for the module: OpenEduCat Note Summarizer Agent (openeducat_ai_note_summarizer).

  3. Click Install.

2. Finding the Agent

  1. Navigate to AIO ‣ Agents ‣ Agent Library to view all available AI agents.

  1. In the search bar, type Note Summarizer Agent to locate this specific template.

3. Configuring the Model

  1. Click on the Note Summarizer Agent from the search results to open its form view.

  2. Locate the Model field (or Model ID) on the configuration page.

  3. Select the Model ID you previously configured (e.g., gpt-4o).

  4. Click the Deploy button.

  5. Click Activate to ensure the agent is active and ready to use.

4. Testing in the Playground

Once the model is assigned, you can interact with the agent directly.

  1. Navigate to AIO ‣ Playground.

  2. Select the Note Summarizer Agent from the agent list.

  3. You will be prompted with specific inputs: * Target Format: Choose how you want the notes summarized (e.g., Cornell Notes, Mind Map Structure, or Flashcards). * Paste Text: Paste the raw lecture notes or transcript here. * Upload File / Image (Optional): Attach a document or an image of handwritten notes.

  4. Click the Start Conversation button to execute the prompt.

Reviewing Results

The AI will process the inputs and return a highly condensed, formatted summary directly in the chat interface. You can immediately copy this output for distribution to students or further refinement.
