ملاحظة
The Auto Create options are executed by scheduled actions that run in the background :- Attendance Sheet: Daily, Attendance Sheet: Weekly, Attendance Sheet: Monthly and Attendance Sheet If Session: Daily. Each of them creates the attendance sheets of the registers that match the selected duration. An administrator can review or deactivate them from Settings ‣ Technical ‣ Automation ‣ Scheduled Actions.
Subject Wise and Generic Attendance¶
The way attendance is collected in the whole application is defined once in Class Attendances ‣ Configuration ‣ Settings, with the Attendance option :-
Subject Wise :- Attendance is collected during a particular session, for one subject. The Subject becomes mandatory on the attendance register, and the Session is requested on the attendance sheet.
Generic :- Attendance is collected once for the whole day by one responsible faculty. The Subject is not requested, and the attendance sheet asks for the Batch and the Faculty instead of the session.
The option applies to the registers and to the attendance sheets that are created afterwards.
Attendance Register Dashboard¶
The Registers menu opens in a Kanban dashboard where every register is displayed as a card together with the number of attendance sheets that were created for it.
Click on the Attendance Sheets counter to open the sheets of that register. The list opens on the sheets of the current day, remove the
Todayfilter of the search bar to display all of them.Use the
⋮menu of a card to set a colour on it or to open its settings.Use the view switcher on the top right of the screen to move between the Kanban dashboard, the list and the form view.
Print the Attendance Reports¶
Two Excel reports can be generated directly from an attendance register form view:
Print Attendance Report: Generates a daily breakdown with attendance indicators (
1for Present,0for Absent) per attendance sheet column, total lectures taken, total lectures attended, and overall attendance percentage per student.Print Attendance Report By Week: Generates a weekly aggregated spreadsheet, calculating weekly attendance percentages and cumulative progress.
Both reports are exported in .xlsx spreadsheet format. For detailed matrix structure, weekly breakdowns, and technical specifications, see Attendance Excel (XLSX) Reports.
