Student Skill Assessment

OpenEduCat provides the facility of the Student Skill Assessment which help an evaluation of an individual’s ability to perform a specific skill or set of skills.

Skills

Go to the Skill Assessment ‣ Configuration ‣ Skills. Click on Create to create a new skill.

1. Name :- Specify the name of skill.

Skill Level

Go to the Skill Assessment ‣ Configuration ‣ Skill Level. Click on Create to create a new skill level.

1. Name :- Specify the name of skill level.

2. Progress :- Add the progress in percentage of particular level.

Skill Assessment Template

Go to the Skill Assessment ‣ Configuration ‣ Skill Assessment Template. Click on Create to create a new template.

1. Name :- Specify the name of the template.

2. Skills :- Add the skills for particular skill template.

3. Levels :- Add the Levels for particular skill template.

Skill Assessment

Go to the Skill Assessment. Click on Create to create a new skill assessment.

1. Skill Assessment Type :- Select the skill assessment type from the dropdown.

2. Date :- Set the date.

3. Student :- Select the student of which you want to add skill in their profile from the dropdown.

4. Assessed By :- It will automatically assign to a logged in user.

Skills

It will set automatically based on selected Assessment Type.

User can add Levels in particular skills.

Workflow of skill assessment

Draft

Once the details are filled up in the skill assessment form and it is saved, the state is Draft. Workflow of this form is started from here.

Schedule

• Click on Schedule button to schedule the assessment. This changes the state of record from Draft to Scheduled.

Done

• Click on Done button to done the assessment. This changes the state of record from Scheduled to Done.

When Assessment is done state, skills are automatically display in student’s profile under STUDENT SKILLS page.

Student Side View

Student can see their Skill Level in their profile.
