It tracks the submission, evaluation, approval, and completion of a student’s thesis, including document management, examiner assignment, and communication with involved parties.

Thesis Submissions

Go to Thesis ‣ Thesis Management ‣ Submissions to see Submissions.

Details of Thesis Submissions Form

  1. Code :- Unique reference for the submission, auto-generated.

  2. Thesis Registration :- Link to the thesis registration record. Required.

  3. Student :- The student submitting the Thesis.

  4. Title :- Final title of the thesis.

  5. Submission Date :- Date of submission, defaults to date of submission.

  6. Examiner :- The assigned examiner (from the committee).

  7. Thesis Document :- The main thesis document.

  8. Revision Comments :- Comments for required revisions.

  9. Additional Documents :- Additional supporting document.

  10. Evaluation :- Evaluation of the thesis.

Student Thesis Submissions

Submissions Approval and Evaluation

Go to Thesis ‣ Thesis Management ‣ Submissions to see Submission of student.

When thesis to start review, checks for examiner and if not assigned examiner.

When click on Approve, then moves the submission to the “evaluated” state.

When click on request revision, and this requires to provide revision comments and student to resubmit thesis.

After the thesis is approved , Submits the evaluation by Submit Evaluation button , checks that all evaluation fields are filled, updates state, and notifies the student.
